Supernatural aka Jared and Jensen without Pants!

I should stop pretending I don’t just like Supernatural because Jared and Jensen are hot. Yes, that would be reason enough but Supernatural is just something else. What I love about this show is that it isn’t pretentious – it doesn’t try to be this ‘highly different’ TV show, in fact it is just the opposite. Two gorgeous guys, one Impala and story lines that would be any ‘scary movie’ fan’s fantasy. But you see, that’s just it. SUPERNATURAL takes you back to a good time, the time when you pretended you were catching the bad guys and evil beings from the face of the earth and that you were amazing and ‘cool’. That’s what it is – there is nothing about it that hasn’t been done before, considering how many scary/horror/thriller/mystery television shows and movies are being made every day and yet it is such a perfect mix of scary thrills, eye candy, drama and fantasy that you fall for it.

And fell for it I did, ever since I watched the first episode. I was hooked and addicted and well, thank God the seasons keep coming. I love True Blood as well, just as much, I am afraid, and sometimes its a bad fight between Eric Northman and Alcide and the Winchester Brothers. I am a major fan of fantasy – since I have always had a problem excepting reality. Most people do I know that, but me, a bit much. People say its a psychiatric disease – I just think its fun. Without my imagination I am nothing, and every time I watch a good show or movie it inspires me to write. Supernatural does too and I have recently started thinking about writing a series of stories – definitely inspired by my love of frightful/awesome things like True Blood and Supernatural. Of course they wouldn’t be that good – but they would be something. What if Supernatural ended some day? I need something to hold on to right?

So well, the new season of Supernatural is running and there is a new episode coming up this Friday which would be great of course. To me all of it is great – when I like something I like it – end of story. I am very old fashioned and loyal that way. Right now I am going to leave you with this most amazing video that Jensen and Jared recorded for their fans, as a promotion gimmick for the upcoming People’s Choice Awards. It isn’t funny ha-ha and it isn’t something you haven’t seen before, but its Jared and Jensen without pants.
